Not sure what consulting is all about? The Summer Associate Internship programme is a great opportunity to work for a period of 8 weeks in your penultimate year of university. This gives you a chance to experience first-hand the type of work we do and learn more about the industries in which we operate.

As a Summer Associate, you would be staffed as a full-time member on a case team. The types of project may vary. Your role on the team might include activities such as client interviews, market research and analysis, hypothesis generation and testing – all of which may be essential to helping the team achieve case objectives.

As an intern, you will learn many key consulting skills during the 8 weeks you are here. Beyond the formal training programme, BCG’s apprenticeship model offers the chance to learn applicable skills and approaches for the consulting environment. You will receive lots of on-the-job coaching and training from senior BCG members of your case team. In fact, feedback has shown that in past years, interns have really valued the on-the-job training received from their Principals and Project Leaders.

We are seeking outstanding people to join our 2016 summer internship programme. Our selection process is rigorous; successful applicants will pass through a CV review, written tests and up to three rounds of interviews. We require an outstanding academic record (minimum AAB at A Level or equivalent and an actual or predicted First or 2:1 or equivalent), plus evidence of excellence in non-academic and extra-curricular activities.

This position is suitable for penultimate year undergraduate student or students with confirmed Masters only.
