Summer Internships

Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Summer Internship programme is the ideal opportunity to gain an introduction into the world of banking. The nine-week programme begins with an induction week covering core skills where you will work alongside our full-time employees to gain valuable work experience in the financial industry.

Internships are available at the analyst and associate (MBA/PhD) level. More information on the specific programmes for each business area can be found on our website at

What we look for

Strong academic qualifications and quantitative skills are important for success in our analyst programmes. Equally important are initiative, strategic and creative thinking, communication skills and a genuine interest in the financial markets. For some roles, a second European language is required. For associate level programmes an MBA/PhD or other advanced degree is required.
