Who we are and what we do

We’re more than 373,000 people working in over 200 cities across 56 countries around the globe. A world-leading organisation, we provide consultancy and technology expertise to some of the biggest names in just about every industry you can imagine. Clients come to us to make more of their business opportunities, adapt successfully to change, put ideas into action and gain – or sustain – a competitive edge. With our knowledge of the markets, understanding of the power of technology and ability to shape and implement transformational solutions, we do just that. We work with 4,000 companies and 91 of the Fortune Global 100. As a growing firm we need talented graduates like you to join us.

Strategy & Consulting Graduate Programme

On this programme, it’s all about developing innovative answers to a variety of complex business problems and turning high-level theory into action – working with clients to identify market opportunities that shape and transform their businesses. This could involve how our clients’ organisations manage their people, processes and technology.

Joining a team with highly specialised business, technology and operations expertise, you’ll draw on this experience to help clients define what they want to accomplish and set out transformational solutions. Whether you’re brainstorming ideas with a client, or soaking up the breadth of knowledge from inside Accenture, you’ll be challenging yourself and expanding your skills every day.

What you’ll learn

What you know is what we can sell to our clients. So we’ll invest in your development from your first day. And realising you need to be up to speed as soon as possible, we’ll make sure you have all the training you need. As well as an award-winning induction programme and supportive graduate community, you can look forward to mentoring from some of our most successful leaders. This training will help you get the all-round skills for success but it will be your experience that will really make the difference, which is why the variety of live project work we’ll give you will be so important.

What’s in it for you

As well as great career prospects, you can look forward to a rewards package that’s second to none, with a competitive starting salary and a generous holiday allowance. Other benefits include a pension scheme, personal laptop, an AMEX card, private healthcare, subsidised gym membership, season ticket loan and much more besides. For a comprehensive list of all our benefits, visit our website.

What we’re looking for

You can join Accenture from any academic discipline; and we’re particularly keen to recruit graduates from maths, science, engineering and technology backgrounds. You’ll need to have or be expecting a minimum 2:1 or equivalent in any degree discipline and you’ll need at least 340 UCAS points across your top three A-Levels (that’s AAB or equivalent, achieved in the same academic year – excluding General Studies).

Overall, we’re looking for relentlessly curious problem-solvers with an interest in how technology can make a real difference to business. Driven, ambitious and inquisitive, if you’re always keen to learn new things and push yourself, we want to hear from you.

Where you’ll work

In direct response to project demand we’re looking for graduates to join our Edinburgh office to better serve our portfolio of clients in Scotland. Our available start dates in Edinburgh are in early 2017.  We will be hosting Insight Days with fast track Assessment Centres in our Edinburgh office, the first one is scheduled for Thursday, 31st March.
