Job Description

Our Strategy and Decision Sciences Practice is growing and has driven some of the most exciting work that the consulting industry has seen for many years across many industries and sectors. Who did Virgin Atlantic turn to when the company needed help with developing a customer strategy for its iconic brand? Who did Aston Martin choose as its strategy advisor when it came to reassess the risk in its supply chain? Who did Odeon engage when needed to predict the opening weekend ticket sales of new films? The answer to all of these questions is ‘PA’.  We have a great record of working with C-level leaders in major organisations, directly addressing their greatest strategic challenges. We have four propositions to catch the eye of our most senior clients in the private and public sectors. These give all of us at PA a fantastic opportunity to talk to our most senior clients about the big questions they need to answer. Where can they find the best opportunities for growth? How can they increase customer value? Have they got their biggest investment decisions right? How can they predict and influence consumers’ buying behaviour using social intelligence?

As an Analyst in our Strategy and Decision Sciences Practice you will:

  • Help clients to develop strategies that deliver sustainable value to their business by using your talent for problem solving and knowledge of Operational Research techniques (e.g. Mathematical Programming, Forecasting, Simulation and Statistical analysis).
  • Collaborate with experienced and talented colleagues to deliver creative solutions.
  • Work with clients on ground breaking projects early on in your career.
  • Assist with research, analysis, and manipulation of complex data.
  • Manage project plans to achieve tight deadlines and document client requirements.
  • Develop and deliver compelling client presentations.
  • Enjoy challenging and rewarding work that is always developing and evolving to satisfy client needs.
  • Learn and develop professionally with every project.

This role is based in London but you will often work on client site as this allows us to work side-by-side with our clients.  There may also occasionally be international opportunities.

We’re looking for Analysts to start in March or September 2015.
