We have an excellent opportunity for a numerate and articulate individual to take up a full time (35 hours per week) training position within our Nottingham office. We are an award winning professional services firm with an excellent reputation for training staff in a friendly and welcoming environment.

As part of this role, you will undertake accounting assignments, working on a wide range of client businesses, combining the demands of a full time role whilst studying for a professional qualification.

You will learn how to prepare accounts and draft tax computations through a planned programme of on the job experience. The firm will provide you with a fully funded study package and you will be guided through your training by a qualified student mentor.

The successful applicant will need to:

  • Have a minimum Grade B Maths and English at GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Have an aptitude for figures and an interest in business and commerce
  • Have the commitment to study for professional examinations
  • Ideally possess an A Level (or equivalent) in Accounting or a business related subject.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be confident, have well-developed interpersonal skills and be prepared to work hard.
