Our Operations function focuses on providing world class operational support to Standard Life Investments. At the centre of this support is the management of client and supplier relationships as we look to build scalability and flexibility into our operations.
You’ll be at the heart of the company, rotating between a number of areas within Operations. This will help you gain insight into the key processes that keep our business running smoothly. You’ll see first-hand the workings of international investment markets, and learn how to manage people and processes in order to best respond to the diverse array of challenges faced by our operations function.
Our unique 2 year programme will ensure you develop the broad ranging skills and experience needed to succeed in today’s sophisticated investment operations arena.

When you join us as a graduate you’ll complete a series of structured placements over a 2 year period. We’ll give you responsibility and challenging tasks and projects to deliver, equipping you with the skills and experience to succeed in your career with Standard Life Investments.
To support your time with us, you’ll be set up to succeed with first class training and development. There will also be a structured network of support from your line manager, scheme head and mentor. Emphasis is on professional and managerial development and you will complete the Investment Administration Qualification (IOC and IMC).
This programme is open to applicants of all degree disciplines, and prior experience is not necessary, however candidates must have a desire to develop a career within Operations.
