Nomura is an Asia-based financial services group with an integrated global network spanning over 30 countries. By connecting markets East & West, Nomura services the needs of individuals, institutions, corporates and governments through its three business divisions: Retail, Asset Management, and Wholesale (Global Markets and Investment Banking). Founded in 1925, the firm is built on a tradition of disciplined entrepreneurship, serving clients with creative solutions and considered thought leadership.

Nomura’s investment banking group provides a vast array of advisory and capital-raising solutions to corporations, financial institutions, governments and public-sector organizations around the world. Our global teams act as geographic, product and industry specialists.  We deliver Asia to our clients – accessing deep pools of liquidity and dynamic growth markets. We have cross-border collaboration in M&A, DCM, ECM, and solutions businesses, and across global sectors such as FIG, natural resources and power, and financial sponsors

Nomura is offering internship positions as the perfect preparation for a subsequent full time role.  At the end of the 10 week summer analyst program we will extend full time offers to strong performers to return to Nomura the following year.

Following an initial induction program Investment Banking summer analysts are placed directly into a product, industry or geographic coverage group for the full 10 weeks.  We aim to provide summer analysts with the same level of exposure as a first-year analyst, participating in all situations as full members of the team.  They are expected to form effective working relationships and to demonstrate a commitment to the firm’s goals and values.  During the course of the internship, summer analysts benefit from working closely with a buddy and interacting regularly with a senior mentor.  We also ensure extensive contact with Nomura professionals at all levels through training, seminars and informal social functions.

Please refer to our website for further details and to submit your on-line application: before the deadline of Sunday 11th January 2015.
