Deadline

12 Dec 2016

  • Job Type: Insight
  • Profession: Investment Banking
  • Start Date: Unspecified
  • Location: London
  • UCAS Points: Institutional Securities Spring Insight Programme
  • Application Details: Apply online with your CV and cover letter by 12 December 2016.

If you are curious to know more about how an Investment Bank is organised and whether you can see yourself working at Morgan Stanley, applying for our week long Spring Insight Programme is an excellent opportunity for you. You need not worry if you are not read up on banking or are baffled by all the acronyms, if you’ve got curiosity and a genuine interest in finance, come and find out more.

On the first two days, we will take you on an interactive journey through Morgan Stanley. We will show you how our culture is a real differentiator and introduce you to the various divisions that make up our Institutional Securities Group: Investment Banking, Global Capital Markets, Sales & Trading and Equity Research. You will then have the opportunity to choose the division with which you will spend the remainder of the week, learning from our experienced colleagues within them. Analysts will be on hand for work shadowing opportunities, and there will be plenty of networking with employees from all levels of the Firm.

If you are looking to spring into your penultimate year with a fast tracked opportunity into our Summer Analyst Programme, having a clearer idea of what Investment Banking is and which division you may want to intern in, then you should consider applying.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome students graduating in 2019 (in your first year of a three year course, or second year of a four year course) from all degree disciplines and backgrounds. This may mean that you have fluency in another language, although this is not essential. The key requirement is that you are interested in finance and how an Investment Bank works.

Here’s What Comes Next

Apply online with your CV and cover letter by 12 December 2016. You will then need to complete an online test. If successful, you will be invited to take part in two telephone interviews which will test your motivation, personal strengths and analytical skills. This is an unpaid programme but we will cover travel/accommodation costs.
