PA’s Information Technology group offers a range of advisory services to clients, from business and IT design to implementation and delivery and this graduate role sits with the Solutions and Infrastructure business area.
PA’s approach to IT Strategy is different because it spans the visioning and scoping of the required change, its justification, its design and its implementation, so that it consistently creates value for our clients. We do this by:
• concentrating on selected areas that will extract the maximum value
• asking the questions that get to the root issues from the outset to ensure a ‘benefits-led’ approach with a focused vision
• aligning both the business process and computer system aspects of change to the vision
• anticipating the major business and technical obstacles to successful delivery to ensure a ‘right first time’ implementation of all IT strategies.
As a junior consultant (Analyst) you will be working on client projects and sales-related activities, working with a team of consultants. You will be expected to use your interpersonal skills to develop client relationships and establish your own networks – this is a client-facing role. Within the first year you will be developing your own analytical methods and the basic disciplines of consultancy.
Applicants should have a minimum of 300 UCAS points (or equivalent) and expect a 1st or 2:1 degree in an IT-related subject. Some work experience in the IT field is desirable but not essential. Initially the role will involve ‘hands-on’ technical as well as analytical and consultancy work.
Early application is advised. For more details please visit our website.
