SunGard’s Adaptiv suite of products provides enterprise-wide credit and market risk management and operations solutions for financial services institutions. The problems Adaptiv solves are inherently quantitative and rich in technical innovation. We combine sophisticated mathematical techniques with leading edge technologies, to address today’s demanding regulatory and reporting challenges in the financial environment. In the wake of the financial crisis these functions are crucial to the performance and stability of our clients.

SunGard is seeking graduates – enthusiastic about software and technology, to join a growing team of Software Developers. Our Developers combine technical software skills with a comprehensive understanding of the financial business problems that our solutions address. They assist in delivering a better quality product to the customer, making us stand out in the market place. The Developer role is coding focused and our primary language is C# although we use other languages including C++ within our product suites.

The role involves but is not limited to driving product innovation, troubleshooting, providing imaginative solutions to complex financial problems, giving sound product advice to clients, analysing difficult quantitative issues and working on development projects from start to finish.

Our graduates will play a major role in promoting our solutions internally and externally. After gaining experience and knowledge of our solutions, they will be expected to support the process of selling our solutions to prospects and developing our relationships with clients.

Prior experience in using a programming language (preferably C++ or C#) is required for this role.
