Are you passionate about software? Do you have an interest in finance?

Does working with global corporations appeal to you?

If so, then SunGard may have the perfect career opportunity for you!

About us:

SunGard Financial Systems is a global leader in software and technology services, with over 12,000 employees globally and serving approximately 15,000 customers in more than 100 countries worldwide! We serve a broad range of sectors – our clients include top-tier global financial institutions, corporates and energy companies.

In today’s volatile marketplace, efficient management of cash flow is a key driver for success. A holistic view of the Receivables, Treasury and Payments functions will help corporations mitigate risk and optimise liquidity.

SunGard’s AvantGard solution suite provides a corporation with a single view of cash and risk, which they can then use to optimise business processes for improved management of credit risk, collections, cash management, treasury management and payments processing.

SunGard’s AvantGard has more than 2,300 customers globally.

Opportunities for graduates:

As a Graduate Implementation Consultant, you will be part of the professional services team delivering client-facing training and consultancy services during the implementation of our treasury system software solutions, within (although not limited to) the area of Treasury and Risk Management.

You will gain an understanding of the detail of the daily operation of the client’s business, demonstrate the functionality that exists within the software, and endeavour to align those two components so that the client gains maximum benefit from the solution.

The role offers the opportunity for travel within the UK and Europe. On average our experienced consultants travel approximately 60% of every ‘typical’ week.

Training & Development:

We will support your learning with a robust programme of online, classroom and on-the-job training. Upon joining, you will be scheduled on an intensive starter training plan (4 – 6 weeks in duration) consisting of soft skills, training on treasury processes and on our software solutions.
