Are you interested in software/technology consulting?

If so, then SunGard may have the perfect career opportunity for you!

About us:

SunGard Financial Systems is a global leader in software and technology services, with over 12,000 employees globally and serving approximately 15,000 customers in more than 100 countries worldwide! We serve a broad range of sectors – our clients include top-tier global financial institutions, corporates and energy companies.

Energy market participants around the world today struggle to deal with a growing number of concerns such as volatile energy markets, shifting global energy resources, and ever-tightening regulatory controls.

SunGard’s energy solutions help industrial and energy companies to efficiently compete in global markets by streamlining and integrating the trading, risk management and operations of all commodities and their associated financial instruments.

Opportunities for graduates:

As our energy business continues to grow, we are offering graduates an exciting opportunity to join our Professional Services team in Canary Wharf. You will join a team ultimately focused on the design, configuration and testing of bespoke trading software for our clients. This involves gathering business requirements and assisting the re-engineering of these to fit within the designed solution. As you build experience in this role, you will develop expertise covering the breadth of the energy industry – the gas and power sectors in particular.

For this position, we are looking for enthusiastic self-starters with proven problem-solving and analytical skills, and excellent all round communication skills!

Training & Development:

We will support your learning with a robust programme of online, classroom and on-the-job training. Upon joining, you will be scheduled on an intensive starter training plan (6 weeks in duration) consisting of industry training, project training and soft skills to ensure a smooth start in your role!
