In Fixed Income Credit, we manage approximately £50bn of assets, in over 100 funds, for a range of different clients across the globe. We have teams in Edinburgh, Boston and London, all with a proven track record.
As a graduate in the Credit on-desk support team, you will have a very varied and challenging introduction into working in investment management. The role involves representing the credit team and working with areas across the business including client reporting, marketing, dealing, technology, change and all areas of operations – you’ll gain a great understanding of our wider business.
From coordinating corporate actions and primary market trades across our funds, to assisting with portfolio cash management, as on-desk support you will be working closely with credit portfolio managers and analysts on the investment floor. From the start, you’ll gain first-hand experience in a fast-paced environment.
Based in Edinburgh, you’ll spend time in different business areas – which could include data management, derivatives services, corporate actions, client on-boarding and asset pricing. There are also training opportunities to improve the knowledge and skills you need.
There will be training opportunities to improve the knowledge and skill you need to succeed in the on-desk support role, and if further professional qualifications are the best route for your, there’s great support for the Investment Management Certificate (IMC).
- Duration: 2 year programme
- Structure: There is no formal rotation, but will include some time in other areas of the business yet to be confirmed
- Development: Support towards studying towards further professional qualifications, such as the IMC.
