e-Commerce at ICAP
The ICAP Global e-Commerce team offers a complimentary service to the voice brokers operating within the Global Broking division, offering advisory services and promoting innovative solutions both internally and externally to customers.
There are a number of electronic and hybrid solutions that ICAP currently operate to offer the client base a choice of trading options and there is a large programme of work now in flight to rollout Fusion, a state of the art front end solution that will eventually have the capability to distribute all Global Broking products.
e-Commerce is made up of three core teams based in EMEA, Asia and Americas and each team is split into two components, Product management and Sales Account Management. There is also a Global UX and Design team based in London reporting into Global e-Commerce but providing services to the wider ICAP group.
This role will see you act as a client sales person with the specific goal of increasing usage of the ICAP’s suite of hybrid trading platforms. You will need to successfully manage client relationships and develop new business opportunities from within the company’s user community. As part of the Sales team you will meet regularly with clients promoting new initiatives, discussing product and new opportunities in our ever changing market place.
A product manager’s role is to think and to challenge. This role is where ideas are born and solutions and delivered for both the brokers at ICAP and independent eSolutions. They work on the initial concept, design, management and eventual delivery of the product as well as working closely with the sales and technology teams to ensure the solution meets the requirement. As with sales there is close interaction with brokers and management across the specific business they cover.
