Who we are

Accenture is global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company — with 266,000 people serving clients in more than 120 countries. Combining unparalleled experience, comprehensive capabilities across all industries and business functions, and extensive research on the world’s most successful companies, we collaborate with an array of clients to help them evolve.

What this programme is about

This programme is your main entry route into a consulting career with Accenture. It will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to succeed, while giving you a breadth of experience across our business. Places are available in both Technology Consulting and Management Consulting.

How you’ll evolve

Whichever route you take, you’ll join us an Analyst within the Analyst Consulting Group (ACG). You’ll be enrolled into our Analyst training programme, starting with an intensive induction in London lasting two to three weeks. This will introduce you to programming, consulting methodologies and your future colleagues. In most cases, you’ll have the potential to train in one of our international training centres.

From that point on, you’ll develop quickly. We’ll assign you to a live project where you’ll be expected to make a real contribution from day one. You’ll also take advantage of the ACG Learning Academy, which will provide you with structured learning modules throughout your time as an Analyst.

Through a combination of intensive training and live project experience, you’ll soon develop the skills and know-how needed to make a real impact on assignments. Perform well, and you should be ready for your first promotion within two to three years.

Technology Consulting

The biggest and fastest growing part of our Consulting business, this is the area where most of our graduates begin. We provide leading-edge technology solutions for all kinds of organisations, in all kinds of sectors, throughout the world.

As an Analyst here, you’ll be at the centre of the action. You’ll learn how to implement and deploy some of the leading software packages such as SAP and Oracle. But at the same time, you’ll also build your business expertise too. You’ll learn how to analyse client processes, people and systems before delivering a solution that achieves the right results.

Management Consulting

You’ll help our clients identify business improvement opportunities and then carry them through from concept to reality. The projects themselves span everything from risk management in the financial sector to supply chain development and customer relationship management. Whatever the assignment, you’ll be a key member of a multi-disciplinary team delivering decisive business change.

As an Analyst here, you’ll focus on business evolution. You’ll learn how to apply your skills in strategy, supply chain management, human performance and customer relationship management to clients across a range of industries.

What’s in it for you

The rewards package for this programme is one of the best around — and includes a £31,500 starting salary and £10,000 sign-on bonus. You’ll also receive a 30 day holiday allowance, generous pension scheme, critical illness cover, interest-free season ticket loan, life assurance and much more besides. For a comprehensive list of all the benefits, visit

What we’re looking for

You’ll need to have or be expecting a 2:1 or equivalent in any degree discipline. You’ll also need at least 340 UCAS points in your top three A-Levels (that’s AAB, excluding General Studies). Qualifications aside, you’ll need to be passionate about technology and innovation.

Flexibility is essential too. Although you’ll be aligned to one of our main offices in London, Edinburgh, Manchester or Newcastle, you’ll need to be fully mobile. A client project could potentially see you working anywhere in the country – or even the world.
