Working at the heart of business

Spanning across the commercial and government sectors, our Advisory teams help clients thrive and succeed in a challenging, uncertain business climate. It’s a diverse, fast-paced, fluid business area – and our fastest growing service line.

Our global reach

Ernst & Young has one of the broadest global Advisory networks of any professional organisation. We operate as a single business that harnesses the diverse perspectives and experiences of nearly 20,000 professionals in over 140 countries.

Huge variety, and always working closely with clients

Our consultants act as trusted advisors on some of the most exciting projects. Working closely with our clients in integrated teams, we bring our individual strengths and experience together to manage risk and drive sustainable improvements in business performance.

We offer a number of Advisory programmes. Whichever you join, you’ll learn the basics from the ground up and focus on the areas you’re most interested in. Right from the start, you can expect a huge variety of work and the chance to play an important role in identifying, diagnosing and solving complex business problems – responsibility comes early in our close knit teams.

Advisory is an excellent environment if you enjoy teamwork and can combine commercial acumen with an ambitious nature and entrepreneurial thinking. You also need the ability to think quickly, act creatively and challenge accepted wisdom. You’ll be building on these strengths from day one though training and development, mentoring and support for a professional qualification. It’s all about developing the skills for a long and fulfilling career.
