Job Description

Innovative? Looking for impact? PA Consulting has a mechanical engineering internship available this summer.  You will be responsible for concept and detail design work in support of the development of advanced equipment – from concept, through prototype manufacture, to testing. You will be joining an exceptionally gifted, enthusiastic and friendly group of design engineers coming up with cutting edge solutions and designs for the next generation of technology products. Very quickly, you will assume responsibility for part or all of the mechanical detailing on a project, which may involve a medical device, consumer product, or break-through manufacturing equipment.

We are seeking the brightest and best students who are passionate about applying their engineering and scientific knowledge in practical ways to develop innovative new products, processes and technologies. You will be an all-round mechanical design engineer: this job is not just tweaking existing products or a simple CAD design job.

During 12 weeks this summer you will have an opportunity to influence our clients and other top brands with the latest, transformative automation technologies. To help you achieve this you will be supported by coaching and guidance from our experienced consultants. Altogether this internship provides top level work experience that will set you apart early on in your career.
