Our success hinges on how well we’re run. Finance gives us the independent control and trustworthy advice we need to operate at our peak. This truly bank-wide team helps us be competitive on a global scale. And it’s where you’ll develop the technical and business know-how to do the same.

What to expect

Expect responsibility and plenty of opportunities to make an impact. It starts with intensive training that equips you with the skills and knowledge to get your three rotations, each lasting a year, off to a flying start. As soon as you complete your initial training you’ll head straight to your first team, where you’ll rapidly learn about our Finance function and its many different business areas, products and systems. You’ll be an integral part of the team from the very beginning, working alongside experienced colleagues to:

  • Deliver accounting, advisory and reporting services
  • Control our trading balance sheets to analyse business performance
  • Manage change strategies within Finance
  • Collaborate with senior professionals, clients and other teams within the Bank.

How you’ll develop

This is your first step towards promotion to assistant vice president – and we’ll give you all the tools to get there. From day one, you’ll start building the skills and experience for a successful career. In-depth performance coaching will keep your progress on track. You’ll have many opportunities to expand your network. And we’ll also help you gain a professional CIMA or ACCA qualification.

Who thrives here

People of any degree discipline who are motivated, analytical, hard-working and great with detail. You’ll also need to be someone who’s client-focused, team-orientated and enjoys working in a fast paced environment.
