Whatever the size of the business, entrepreneurship and innovation are critical factors in helping firms to stay ahead of the competition. They are also vital for survival in times of recession.
This exciting new MSc has a strong focus on the application of theory to practice: it is designed for graduates who want to gain specialist knowledge of innovation and entrepreneurship, and to learn how to translate them into practical action. You may have ambitions to set up your own business in the future, but the skills you acquire will also be just as valuable to larger companies or in the public or not-for-profit sector.
You will be taught by specialists from the Management School’s Institute for Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development, who are not only active researchers but also work closely with businesses regionally and nationally on initiatives to support growth, innovation and leadership. Many of those who join the programme have degrees in business and management disciplines, but applications are also welcomed from those who have already worked for several years or who come from family business backgrounds.
