The Chartered Institute for IT (BCS) are running a month long campaign throughout May to encourage women to enter the IT profession. Each day an influential women in IT will share their story, through a blog post or video interview.
A recent BCS survey revealed that 79% of IT professionals feel that the profession would benefit from having more women working in IT roles. Consequently, the campaign hopes to inspire women of all ages, including young students, to consider a career in IT.
