Lotus announced last week that they are to create 100 new jobs in Hethel, Norfolk.

The British sports car manufacturer will open positions for 45 specialist engineers, 40 manufacturing operatives and 18 graduates.

Mark Pym, Group Head of Human Resources at Lotus, said: ‘It’s a positive sign for both the UK car industry and Lotus that we are able to recruit such a high number of both experienced specialists and graduates, who will take their first steps on an exciting and rewarding career path.’

This follows other recent announcements from Bentley and Jaguar Land Rover about job creation in the automotive industry.
