The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD) yesterday hosted their annual Recruitment Marketing Awards.

The awards celebrate and recognise the use of innovation and creativity in recruitment campaigns that effectively use a variety of media channels and demonstrate a return on investment.

The ‘Grand Prix’ Award went to Tonic Agency for their campaign with Mars. They created a tweet-activated vending machine for students in a bid to increase awareness of their graduate opportunities on campus. Followers on Twitter almost tripled during the campaign and there was huge increase in traffic to their Facebook page.
