The Robert Walters Career Lifestyle Survey 2013 aims to provide an insight into the key motivations and aspirations of professionals currently working the UK.
The survey respondents were from a variety of different disciplines including accountancy, IT, legal sales and tax. From the 13 professions surveyed, it was found that marketers felt most strongly that the interestingness of their day to day work was very important to their job satisfaction.
Those working in marketing also appear to consider remuneration and benefits relatively unimportant to their job satisfaction. Only 36% of marketers felt that remuneration was important. Only those working in tax and HR ranked lower in this category.
80% of those surveyed in marketing felt that their own personal achievements impacted the broader success of the business.
