Technology company Cisco has promoted two executives to the title of president with immediate effect, with further promotions filtering through the company as a result.
Gary Moore, who previously led the services division, is now president and chief operating officer. Rob Lloyd, formerly executive vice-president of worldwide operations, has been appointed the president of development and sales.
Company CEO John Chambers has said of the changes ‘We’re evolving our organisation and developing our leadership team.’ Chambers went on to say that the promotions were put it place to help ‘Cisco lead the communications and IT industry for the next decade.’
