A cyber security boot camp will be held next month in the UK to train up amateur security analysts in order to help improve the country’s cyber defences.
Run by Cyber Security Challenge UK, the five day event will train 30 young professionals under the age of 25 through exercises developed by field experts.
Those experts will come from organisations such as the Metropolitan Police Central e-crime Unit, Raytheon, QinetiQ, HP and KPMG that are also sponsoring the event, which will take place at Lancaster University between 5-9 September.
If successful Cyber Security UK intend to introduce a network of regional camps across the UK.
