With the increase in tuition fees for those choosing to attend uninversity this year there has been a call for insititues to release the number of contact hours a course will provide to students.

This is after students have called for an increase in lecture and seminars with more face-to-face time with tutors rather than repetitive note taking. The NUS vice-president Rachel Wenstone says “Contact hours don’t mean anything unless they are high quality, and you have a real relationship with your tutors.”
