Our Female Insight weeks offer a glimpse into the careers of some of our top female talent and business leaders. You’ll have the chance to learn from their experience, ask your own questions, and get a real insight into their determination, and steps they’ve taken to succeed in their careers.
We run programmes for first-year students – or second-year students taking a four year course – in three key business areas: Commercial & Private Banking, Technology & Business Solutions and Core Functions.
An internship in our Risk function is a chance to gain valuable experience of our business-critical functions, and develop important professional skills.
During the internship you’ll gain a real insight into how they operate and fit into the wider Risk community.
Our Commercial Banking business is home to a great pool of talented bankers as well as our core commercial and corporate client franchise in the UK.
We provide wealth management services to high-net worth clients, starting on the front line before moving to support Private Bankers in managing client portfolios.
Our Insight Week in April will give you the opportunity to spend time with females within our business who’ll demonstrate the variety of roles available. This includes Private Bankers, Wealth Managers, Business Partners, Team Leaders in Banking, Wealth Management, Lending and Capital Management, Financial Advice and Investment Services.
Our Female Insight week is aimed primarily at those seeking to understand Private Banking and the opportunities available at Coutts.
We have a clear focus on where our forward thinking, technology and innovation can take us, and how it can benefit our customers.
Analysis & Business Solutions
Our business teams keep the wheels of the bank turning. We provide innovative solutions to make our customers’ experience with us the best it can be.
At the heart of what we do is an innovative streak that sees us continually looking for new and better ways to serve our customers.
As you learn about our different business areas, you’ll have the chance to see live project work and operations in action, and sit at key meetings to understand what our leaders do. You’ll also have the chance to network with our female graduates, finding out about their experiences here so far, and helping you decide which area of banking is for you.
We know that deciding which career to choose can be tricky, so we’ll help to shape your ideas through personal development and employability training. And if you impress us in the final assessment, you could secure a place on our 2017 summer internships.
Our Female Insight Week programme is now open for applications across several business areas.
