Why no personal career advice?

Inside Careers is a publishing company and does not offer individual career advice because we are not qualified to do so. The general advice given on the site and in the books we publish is written by commissioned authors with an intimate knowledge of their subject. This is the only career advice we give.

So where should I go?

If you are still at university your first point of contact for advice should be your university careers advisory centre.

Other options open to you include contacting the institute or governing body associated with the service in which you are interested. Click on the institute logo (at the top of the service home page in each specific service area) to open a new browser window showing the institute's web site.

Another alternative would be to attend one of the many careers fairs or industry seminars and events advertised every year in the events diary.
