Background
Ablett & Stebbing is a young, modern firm founded in 1993 by Graham Ablett and Peter Stebbing. The firm has progressively expanded to the present day multi-disciplinary practice of intellectual property specialists covering all legal and technical disciplines within the field. We represent a diverse range of clients from all parts of the world, including small enterprises, universities and multinational corporations in Europe, Japan and the United States of America.

Professional development
Comprehensive training in all aspects is critical, since we take on all our trainees with a view to them ultimately becoming partners in the firm. To this end, we conduct regular in house tutorials and seminars and also send trainees on external courses. Day to day work is also carefully managed to assist preparation for the examinations for qualification.

Working environment
Whilst the nature of our work certainly demands a rigorous and professional approach, the firm has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We hold summer and winter social events and attend many of the CIPA and ITMA functions.
