IBM

IBM is one of the worlds leading IT services and consultancy companies. Wherever innovation and technology touch - you are likely to find us. If you’re ambitious, have a passion for business and you want to work for a company where you’ll be challenged and given real responsibility from day one, stop looking at other companies and start thinking about IBM. Join us and you’ll find out first hand why IBM Won the Target Graduate Employer of the Year and The Times IT Graduate Employer of Choice in 2007 and 2008.

Not only are our sales people lucky enough to sell some of the world’s most innovative IT solutions, they also get to interact with clients in a wide array of fields.

Responsible for the sale and support of IBM solutions, services, products and offerings, including those from IBM Business Partners, you’ll be the face of our business relationship with clients. Specialising by industry, customer set, channel, brand, solution or offering, you’ll work collaboratively to provide solutions that best meet our clients’ needs and contribute to their marketplace success.

Initially you will work alongside experienced sales teams working with Clients and Business Partners, giving presentations and attending promotional events. 6 months after successful completion of IBM Sales School (approximately 18 months after joining) you will be expected to take on a sales target of your own and to deliver new business to IBM.

What do we look for?
You must be confident, have excellent communication and negotiation skills, a high degree of drive and energy, first class analytical skills and the ability to foster lasting client relationships. Any relevant experience gained in a commercial area involving contact with customers or the general public would be beneficial.
