Sales Opportunities
At RM customer satisfaction is key, our mission is to help learners learn and teachers teach. In order to do this our dedicated sales teams work directly with customers to understand their needs, advise and assist them in the ordering process and make sure we deliver the high level of service they have come to expect from us.
The Sales Division is responsible for sales of the full portfolio of RM products into Schools, Colleges, Universities and Local Authorities. We are looking for graduate Sales Consultants to join the internal (mainly telephone based) team.
In this role you will become the key point of contact for customers, liaising with both field sales and specialists to ensure that demand is generated and that customer needs are met.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the skills required to progress in a customer facing role within the IT Industry. This role is an important part of the internal sales team and a great opportunity to understand the sales process, understand customer needs and to build a career in sales.
With an outstanding sales induction programme, RM will provide you with the tools you need to develop your career in a customer focused environment.
With a commission package of 25% against target and 8% personal performance against objectives. This means you will have the opportunity to earn between £30- £34,000 per annum.
Developing your potential
You will receive a thorough induction to Sales and customer handling as well as ongoing product and sales training. Once you have conducted your initial training you will be given an active territory and we will continue to develop your selling skills through to management level.
Our sales specific training programme will ensure that throughout your career you are continuing to develop and progress. We will work with you to identify and actively move you towards your goals.
We also offer an excellent range of courses designed to improve general skills such as presentation and leadership. Your manager will identify goals for you to work towards and proactively support your development.
What we’re looking for
Educational achievements are of course important. That’s why we’re looking for applicants with a minimum of a 2.1 degree and at least 260 UCAS points. But it’s your personal qualities and aptitude that are most important to us.
