Trainee / Part-Qualified Patent Attorney

The Job

We currently have an opportunity for a graduate with a background in Biochemistry or Biotechnology to train as a Patent Attorney in our London office. We are also accepting applications from part-qualified candidates in this field of expertise.

Candidates will have at least a 2:1 (or equivalent) degree in Biochemistry or Biotechnology.

Full training and support will be provided to the successful candidate as they work towards qualification as a UK and European Patent Attorney. Dehns has a strong emphasis on training which has given us unmatched success in the UK qualifying examinations, with the Gill Prize for best overall performance being awarded to trainees from our firm on four occasions in the last six years.

The Person

Candidates should have good interpersonal skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to express themselves in a clear and logical manner, both orally and in writing.
