Graduate Trainee

The Job

Our attorneys draft patent specifications, file and prosecute patent, trade mark and design applications, undertake searches, watches and investigations, evaluate IP rights on an ongoing basis, conduct oppositions and revocation actions, undertake IP audits and portfolio management and provide strategic advice as well as advise on licensing, infringement and enforcement matters.

The Person

We look for personable applicants with the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. For trainee patent attorneys, we require a degree in one of our preferred technical disciplines. Language skills, especially French and German, are an advantage. For trainee trade mark attorneys, a degree in law or modern languages is preferred.
