Trainee Patent Attorney
The Job
We are looking for candidates with good academic backgrounds to train as patent attorneys, to start now or later. We are seeking graduates with electronics or IT backgrounds, in particular semiconductors and/or communications technology. If you like science and technology and enjoy a variety of work, we would like to meet you!
We invest heavily in developing our trainees and all our trainees are encouraged to qualify as UK and European patent attorneys. In addition to on-the-job training and internal tutorials, we will send you on appropriate external courses, including the QMW Certificate of Intellectual Property Law.A competitive salary will be offered as part of an attractive employment package.
The Person
You will have, or be expecting, a good honours degree or PhD in a science or engineering discipline. You will show an aptitude in electronics or IT technologies, and a desire to work with and understand the latest innovations in science and technology.
A lively and enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn is important.
